Helping you take your first steps into a pain-free future.
At the Camberley Chiropractic Clinic, we pride ourselves on offering an attentive, personal service to all of our new patients.
Thank you for choosing the Camberley Chiropractic Clinic for the very highest level of professional treatment.
It would be helpful and speed up our administration process when you arrive at the clinic if you could print off our "New Patient Questionnaire" , fill it in and bring it with you for your first appointment.
Please read the following notes thoroughly. Here, we explain our clinic’s policies, procedures and services.
Each chiropractor has completed a minimum four years of full time chiropractic education, exceeding five thousand hours. All of our chiropractors undertake continuing professional development and lifelong learning to enhance their skills and keep them up to date. This active pursuit of clinical excellence makes Camberley Chiropractic Clinic one of the leaders in our profession.
An integral part of each chiropractor’s education is the taking and reading of x-rays. This x-ray training is often essential for an accurate diagnosis and sets chiropractors apart from osteopaths and other therapists. If your case requires an x-ray examination, the clinic has x-ray facilities on-site, so you don’t have to worry about making a hospital appointment.
Our clinic office is managed by Clinic Assistants (CA's). Our CA's will help you with your appointments, payments, receipts and any queries not related to your health complaint. They too, are constantly being trained in office procedure, chiropractic health care and scope of practice.
Your chiropractor will take a detailed history of your condition. Following this you will undergo a thorough physical examination. Should your chiropractor find it necessary to take x-rays they would be taken at this time. This first examination usually takes one hour. Following this examination, your chiropractor will assemble your examination findings to produce a full diagnosis and treatment plan. Known as a Report of Findings
You will receive your Report of Findings, and your chiropractic treatment will begin.
Before your treatment begins, your chiropractor will explain, in plain English, what your physical examination and x-ray findings mean. Your treatment plan will then be explained to you, so that you know what and how much treatment may be required. If you have a partner, we ask that you bring them along to this second appointment, this is very important. We find that our patients respond more quickly and their improvement is sustained when their partner knows what they are going through and can assist them with our recommendations.
Our fee structure is £50 for your first consultation, with x-rays charged at £50 per body area (i.e. neck is £50, lower back is £50. Thereafter, all treatment appointments are £35. Payment can be made by cash, debit or credit card.
As we wish to make your treatment as affordable as possible, we offer a 15% discount programme for your treatments. Please speak with your chiropractor or any of the COAs when you first attend the clinic.
We provide a telephone reminder service on the day before your appointment to confirm your appointment time. Please note that we provide this as a reminder service only - should we not be able to speak with you, it is your responsibility to attend your appointment at the time agreed when it was originally booked. Should you wish to change your appointment, please inform us, before 9.00am on the day of your appointment, or ideally at least a day before. Should you change your appointment after 9.00am or miss it altogether, a charge of the full treatment fee shall be made to you. We do not wish to levy a charge to you, so please do all you can to ensure we don’t. We want you to spend your money on treatment!
If your treatment is covered by health care insurance (i.e. Axa PPP, BUPA), you would be responsible for the cancellation charge as your insurance company does not pay for missed appointments.
If so, please inform your chiropractor. This is very important during your first appointment, as your chiropractor may wish to take x-rays of you.
If you have any concerns or questions about your condition or about your treatment, please don’t hesitate to ask your chiropractor! You are welcome to call and the COA will have your chiropractor speak with you as soon as they can. We are always pleased to answer any questions that you might have.
We look forward to meeting you.
